Rufus Deuchler is a communication designer who has always been fascinated by technology that makes creation easier. A graduate of the Art Center College of Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design, Rufus has worked as a corporate and editorial designer throughout Europe, and has been teaching graphic design since 1995. In 2002, Adobe Italia invited Rufus to become a cross-media guru to help spread the word about Adobe products and what they can do. Since then, he has been talking about and teaching Adobe creative software and workflows all over the world.
Rufus has a thorough understanding of creative software from both the user’s and developer’s perspective. This enables him to both help users understand how to get the most out of technology, and help developers understand what users need.
In addition to being a designer and a teacher, Rufus has been the author of many interactive courses, a writer for specialized publishing magazines, and the webmaster of the first InDesign User Group in Italy.
