In this workshop you’ll learn about the emerging workflow between Edge Animate and the Adobe Creative Cloud applications. The contents of this course include:
Creating an Application with Animate
In this introductory chapter we’ll look at how to use the project files included with this course and explore the workflow between Edge Animate, PhoneGap Build, and Dreamweaver CS6.
Creating an Animate Video Project
In this chapter we’ll create an Animate composition that plays an mp4 video. The workflow for this project involves Illustrator, Fireworks, and Photoshop as well as Edge Animate.
Creating an Interactive, Responsive Banner Ad
In this chapter we’ll create a responsive banner ad in Edge Animate. In the process you’ll learn about the Save for Web feature of Photoshop, Edge Web Fonts, how to create an animated GIF preloader, and more.
Creating Animate Content for Adobe Muse
The project for this chapter is a travel page with information about Paris. We’ll begin by creating assets in Fireworks, pop over to Animate to create the content rotator, and then assemble the project in Muse.
The lessons are wrapped in a feature-rich interface that lets you jump to any topic and bookmark individual sections for later review. Full-Screen mode provides a hi-def, immersive experience, and Watch-and-Work mode shrinks the video into a small window so you can play the videos alongside your application. Also included are exercise files that give you an easy way to try out the techniques you learn.
