Aperture

Developed by Apple for the OS X operating system, Aperture is photo editing software application that lets users import photographs, organize them with keywords, apply filters and effects, make nondestructive edits, add GPS metadata, and display slideshows. It offers options for printing images as well as for exporting them to popular photo-sharing and printing websites like Flickr, SmugMug, Facebook, and MobileMe. Aperture runs on Intel-based Mac computers.

The latest version is Aperture 3.3, which includes new and improved features like advanced white balance, professional auto enhance, and a unified Aperture and iPhoto library.
