Trial Version Improvements and Import Format Changes The new and improved free trial version of Premiere Pro CS5.5 will give you a chance to try out all of the new features, including advanced support for RED digital media. This chapter will walk you through the changes.
Audio and Speech Improvements Premiere Pro CS5.5 has added many features that will streamline your audio and speech workflow. This chapter provides a tour of some of the improvements, including synchronizing audio and video tracks, applying audio effects, and attaching and previewing closed-caption data, and speech-to-text analysis.
Effects and Compositing Changes New developments in effects and compositing provide opportunities for more creativity in your projects. This chapter will introduce you to some added transition effects and blend modes.
Exporting and Performance Enhancements This chapter provides an overview of the changes that have been made in the Adobe Media Encoder and CUDA processing to make it quicker and easier to render and export your Premiere Pro project files.
