Creating a Bullnose Family
A nosing profile can have many different applications in a model. In this chapter you'll learn how to create a nosing profile family and add it to your stairs.
Creating a Landing Family
This chapter focuses on creating a landing to serve as the transition between our stairs and the floor. You’ll learn how to create a more complex family that can serve this purpose.
Creating a Custom Railing System
In this chapter you’ll learn how to create a custom railing system. We’ll add a top rail, create a spindle family, add the spindle to the railing, and add a gooseneck to tie the main railing to the post.
Creating a Paneled Railing
This chapter will walk you through the process of creating a paneled railing by setting up views, creating a railing system, and adding glass panels.
Specialty Stairs
In this chapter you’ll learn how to create specialty stairs like a spiral staircase and a U-shaped winding staircase. You’ll also see how to create a custom stringer profile.
