Welcome to the Photoshop CS6 Creative Cloud: New Features Workshop
In this workshop you’ll be introduced to the new and enhanced features in the Photoshop 13.1 Adobe Creative Cloud update. The contents of this course include:
Introduction to the Creative Cloud and HiDPI Resolution
In this introductory chapter we’ll look at what the Creative Cloud is and what it does for you. You’ll also learn about an enhancement in Photoshop that affects users of high-resolution displays.
File Handling Improvements
In this chapter we’ll look at new features like default type styles, conditional actions, and the ability to apply the Blur and Liquify filters to Smart Objects, as well as enhancements to the Pen and Crop tools.
Web Improvements
In this chapter we’ll look web-related enhancements such as the ability to copy CSS data to a web page and import swatches from external web files such as HTML, CSS, and SVG files.
3D Improvements
There have been substantial improvements to Photoshop’s 3D capabilities in this Creative Cloud update, and in this chapter you’ll learn how to work with the new and improved lighting, materials, and rendering tools.
The lessons are wrapped in a feature-rich interface that lets you jump to any topic and bookmark individual sections for later review. Full-Screen mode provides a hi-def, immersive experience, and Watch-and-Work mode shrinks the video into a small window so you can play the videos alongside your application. Also included are exercise files that give you an easy way to try out the techniques you learn.
