Photoshop Artist in Action: Uli Staiger's Perestroika

In this course you’ll work along with Photoshop artist Uli Staiger to create a complex, realistic landscape image. The contents of this course include:

The Landscape
In this chapter you’ll set up the basic structure for the masterpiece we’ll create in this course by resizing the canvas and placing and perfecting the background and sky portions.

The Helicopter
It’s time to add the main focal element of the piece. In this chapter you’ll learn tips and techniques for creating and placing the helicopter, as well as using shadows to give it depth.

The Sickle Bar
This chapter will show you how to make the sickle bar pop with realism and action. You’ll learn how to position the sickle bar element and then use rough and fine masking and specialized brushes to perfect it.

Providing Contextual Detail
In this chapter we’ll complete our masterpiece by adding some contextual detail. You’ll see how to add in environmental details like dust and the sun, as well as how to blend backgrounds and color to create more realism.
