Welcome to Photoshop Artist in Action: Tim Grey's "Abandoned Farmhouse"
In this course you’ll work along with Tim Grey as he chooses and modifies a photographic image, making a creative interpretation of the subject. The contents of this course include:
Getting Started
In this chapter we'll look at the photographic image we’ll be working with in this course and discuss what we hope to achieve with it.
RAW Processing
In this chapter we’ll process the RAW capture for our project image to create the best possible starting point for further adjustments.
Fine-Tuning Adjustments
In this chapter we will apply some fine-tuning adjustments to the image in order to improve the overall look. We'll crop and straighten the image, dodge and burn parts of it, and apply adjustments to improve the color and tonality.
Achieving an Older Look
In this chapter we’ll explore a creative variation on the image, applying a variety of adjustments to create an older appearance that seems to suit the subject.
The lessons are wrapped in a feature-rich interface that lets you jump to any topic and bookmark individual sections for later review. Full-Screen mode provides a hi-def, immersive experience, and Watch-and-Work mode shrinks the video into a small window so you can play the videos alongside your application. Also included are exercise files that give you an easy way to try out the techniques you learn.
