Introduction
In this chapter we'll explore some of the overall concepts related to a thoughtful approach to photography.
Farmer's Market
This chapter will focus on a still-life photographic composition captured at a local farmer’s market.
Commuter Bicycles
In this chapter the subject of our photography will be commuter bicycles, and we’ll focus our attention on trying to come up with an interesting photo of a common subject.
Mountain Stream
In this chapter we’ll explore the process of photographing a mountain stream, focusing most of our attention on the dynamic nature of this subject.
Shuttered Windows
In this chapter we'll focus our attention on an old church in an effort to capture a photograph that conveys the character of the building.
Imposing Castle
In this lesson we’ll hunt for a photographic opportunity to create a brooding image of an imposing subject.
Sunflowers
In this chapter we’ll explore a field of sunflowers, capturing photos with a particular final concept in mind.
Countryside Panorama
This chapter will focus on creating a panoramic image of a hilly countryside.
