Introduction
In this chapter you’ll be introduced to the incredibly versatile PDF file format and Acrobat XI.

The Acrobat Interface
In this chapter you’ll be introduced to key elements of the Acrobat interface like the Welcome screen and the workspace. You'll also learn how to customize the workspace to suit your own way of working.

Viewing and Navigating PDF Files
This chapter covers the basics of viewing and navigating PDF files. You’ll learn what the various options are and how to use them in your documents.

Creating PDF Files
In this chapter we’ll explore the many ways of creating PDF files. You’ll learn how to create a PDF from scratch or from an existing document on both Windows and Mac computers.

Modifying PDF Files
In this chapter you’ll see how to modify existing PDFs by adding or deleting pages, combining files, making edits to the content, and more.

Collaborating with PDF Files
Acrobat XI offers lots of tools for collaboration like commenting, email reviews, shared reviews, and the Review Tracker. In this chapter we’ll explore them all.

Sharing PDF Files
In this chapter you’ll see how easy it is to share PDF files with others via email.

PDF Forms
Acrobat XI lets you create interactive forms by adding form fields to an existing PDF or by creating forms with the included FormsCentral application. You’ll learn all about forms in this chapter.

The lessons are wrapped in a feature-rich interface that lets you jump to any topic and bookmark individual sections for later review. Full-Screen mode provides a hi-def, immersive experience, and Watch-and-Work mode shrinks the video into a small window so you can play the videos alongside your application. Also included are exercise files that give you an easy way to try out the techniques you learn.
